Junior Track National Championships 2022

A small but determined group of track cyclists gathered in Orangefield Velodrome in Belfast on Saturday, May 7th for the Junior Track National Championships.
Erin Creighton was on top form this weekend as she powered to victory in all four events - 500m Time Trial, 2km Pursuit, Scratch Race and Sprint.
Oisin Ferrity claimed two gold medals at the Championships. In the 1km Time Trial Ferrity's time of 1.14.323 was enough to secure gold ahead of Patrick O'Loughlin and Curtis Neill with O'Loughlin taking silver by the narrowest of margins with a time of 1.16.529 compared to Neill's 1.16.876.
Ferrity was also victorious in the sprint while O'Loughlin and Andrew Kelly rounded off the podium.
In the scratch race O'Loughlin topped the podium from Ferrity and Luke Bernie.
Curtis Neill took gold in the 3km pursuit with a time of 3.51.62 ahead of Ferrity (3.56.31) and Patrick O'Loughlin 4.16.53.
