Youths Rás Mhaigh-Eo

12th-13th March

Youths Rás Mhaigh-Eo takes place on March 12th and 13th on the scenic roads of Mayo. The stage race features 3 stages held over two days catering for under 12s, 14s, 16s boys and girls. A weekend packed full of racing is guaranteed to get the road racing season off to a great start for youths.

The weekend of racing kicks off with a road race around the Srah loop, a favoured route amongst the locals. The 8km loop incorporates main roads and twisty back roads with a coupe of short drags to make for an exciting race.

The second day of racing will take place in Ballinrobe Horse Racing Course. First up on Sunday is the individual time trial which will take place on the 1.2km closed loop circuit. The final stage is a criterium style race consisting of a time frame plus a number of laps. Full details on distances and start times for each age category can be found below.

On Sunday, fun races for under 8s and 10s will take place between the TT and Crit race - you must register for these races.
