At the recent AGM club member Adrian Hall stepped forward and volunteered to lead the drive to attract sponsorship to DCV, primarily to drive down he cost of DCV Kit and for any other purposes the club sees fit.
He has asked us for the help of the membership so if you can help in anyway please contact him via- firstname.lastname@example.org
Lets help Adrian to explore this avenue
George Kinghorn and David Tomlinson
A number of members are doing the Velo North closed road sportive in September.
if you want to do it and want to start in the same waves as other members please enter DCV as the team name (not Durham City Velo)
if you think 100 miles is too much for you there is a 50 mile option.
I (George) have signed up for the 100 despite not having ridden for months so if you feel that you would struggle also then let’s get organised and train together. I’m sure the experienced riders in the club will help us.
Its that time of year again where members get to decide what we are going to do as a club.
