Esports Winter Series Returns For 2023
The 2023 Esports Winter Series returns on October 27th for the first of twelve rounds.
Esports is among the fastest growing disciplines in world cycling as the UCI plan for a fourth Cycling Esports World Championships in 2024.
In the build-up to the 2024 Cycling eSports World Championships, an exciting Winter Series kicks off at the end of the month in partnership with Racing Without Borders (RWB).
Participants will race over twelve rounds kicking off weekly from October 27th to January 19th 2024 across several Zwift courses – with the best eight of twelve rounds counting towards final standings.
Register for the Cycling Ireland Esports Winter Series here to appear on the Cycling Ireland results. Participants must hold a Cycling Ireland membership to appear on the results table. Entries open will open on Friday 20th October, immediately after the final round of the Prologue Series. Participants must hold a Cycling Ireland membership to appear on the results table.
There will be a separate women's race each week with four categories to choose from, according to their Zwift power profile.
Points will be awarded for finishing places in each round, while fastest time segment points are also awarded for the top ten in each round.

Prologue Series
To help you get back into the swing of Zwift racing, Cycling Ireland and RWB are hosting a three-week Prologue Series which will be held on Friday’s at 7pm, taking place on October 6th, 13th and 20th.
Participants do not require a Cycling Ireland membership to take part. For more information and to register, click here.
Exclusive beginner and intermediate turbo training sessions are also available for members on the Cycling Ireland Training Hub along with Strength and Conditioning, Pilates and Yoga sessions.
Social Rides
Cycling Ireland Social Rides are back and will take place every Wednesday from 7.15 pm, beginning on October 4th.
The popular rides are aimed towards riders of all ability levels.
