Downhill Progression Sessions for intermediate male and female riders
With the Downhill National Series/IDMS set to kick off at the end of May, the Cycling Ireland Off-Road Commission and the Cycling Ireland Women's Commission have organised a series of Downhill Progression Sessions for eight intermediate level male riders and eight intermediate level female riders who are looking to take their skills to another level.
Three training sessions will take place led by Tommy Mag, riders must be available to take part in all three training sessions:
April 29th - Carrick
June 17th - Rostrevor
July 16th - The Gap
Female only sessions - register here
Male only sessions - register here
Riders must be over 16 to take part
Cost: €60 in total
Conditions:
- Must have raced in the Downhill National Series/IDMS for 1/2 years (this will be checked)
- Must be competent on natural black trails
- Must be competent tackling jumps and drops (features such as those in Bree, Rostrevor, Carrick)
- Must have Cycling Ireland licence/limited competition
- Must have long-travel/slack enduro or downhill bike
- Must have full-face helmet
