Funded Research Opportunity – Participant Development Model

Cycling Ireland has been awarded a research grant to analyse the performance needs of cyclists along the development pathway from the Sport Ireland Research Grant Scheme.

Postgraduates are invited to apply for this funded research opportunity with South-East Technological University (SETU) which will be supervised by Dr Jean Mc Ardle.

The two-year research scholarship is titled ‘Analyse the performance needs of cyclists along the development pathway’ and includes fees, stipends and expenses.

Concerning Cycling Ireland’s strategic plan (2020-2024), the proposed research aligns itself to pillars one through three (participate, performance, enablers for success) by identifying what participants and performers wants and needs are right across this space.
