The biggest week of the Irish road racing season is upon us as the 2023 Road National Championships take place in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, from June 22nd to 25th.
The best Irish riders from home and abroad descend on the roads of Co. Tyrone this week as Island Wheelers play host, with a new set of national champions set to be crowned.
In what's already been an exciting road season with the Rás Tailteann and Road National Series providing plenty of exciting racing, all eyes are on Dungannon this weekend.
Action kicks off with the Time Trial National Championships across several categories on Thursday evening before the weekend brings road races in the senior, U23 and junior men and women's categories.
It's an unmissable week for everyone involved in road racing, here's a complete guide for everything you need to know ahead of the 2023 Road National Championships.

Designated spectator sections
Killyliss Road - This is a short sharp climb in the final 5km of each lap. There is spectator Parking along the Industrial Complex (Image Attached).
7-Hills of Carnteel - (Parking Available at Clonaneese Presbiterian Church - Upper Carpark only
Please advise that any spectators walking along the course should walk on the "right" side of the road toward oncoming traffic.
Finish Line - Parking Available before and after the finish line for 1KM on both sides of the road. Race organisers ask that all spectators access the finish area from the A5 / Woodlough Road junction signed for Parkanaur & travel with the flow of the race.
All spectators are advised that the circuit is tight and there may not be a safe place to stand and spectate in some areas. Please be mindful of both the riders and local traffic / residents in the area. Spectators are reminded to respect the countryside and not leave litter behind.
